Ever since one of his first knives was said to look like a Mako shark, Michal Gavac—head of Gavko knives—took the idea and ran with it. Our latest collaboration with the renowned designer is a titanium frame lock based on the Nurse shark, a docile predator known for its unique ability to conserve energy on the ocean floor. Appropriately, our Nurse folding knife will help you conserve energy, too—especially when it comes to tough cutting tasks. Crafted with a 2.9-inch blade made of S35VN stainless steel, the Nurse opens fast by way of the flipper or the thumb hole. The titanium frame, which is milled with “gills”, is built for reliable lockup. To keep weight down, there are holes throughout the body that resemble the shark’s spotted exterior, plus a titanium clip for-right handed tip-up carry. Now available in two brand new finishes Abyss and Coralline.
